The resulting data are equivalent to those obtained by flow cytometry.

Software for LSC

    The WinCyte® acquisition and analysis software generates a bitmap image for every detector, consisting of 1000 by 768 pixels of 14-bit fluorescent or scattered-light data. Every 500 microns of stage movement generates a new set of bitmaps. Additional virtual bitmaps can be generated at the user's discretion.
